Professional and SAFE Care for all Needs, Breeds, and Speeds.
Safety is the glue that holds us together, the sacred bond of trust between us and our clients, and the backbone of our business. Compassion, reliability, and safety are the makings of a quality pet care service pet care service. Each day we aim to exceed expectations in all three of these areas. Below you will find some of our safety protocols that allow us to provide excellent and worry free service to our clients.
The core of our safety protocols include using our own equipment. We provide our own leashes, safety belts, safety clips, and any extra equipment that your pup may need. The only thing your pup needs is their collar and/or harness and their wagging tail!
While we are out of the home on a walk or transporting to and from group your pet will be clipped to our body onto our sturdy safety belts. this means that even if we stumble, drop a leash, or use both of our hands to train with and take pictures of your pup that they are attached to us. Another layer of this is the use of safety clips.
Safety clips are a crucial part of our routine. Their short and double-ended design allows for us to clip to your pup at two separate points. While in our care dogs wear two pieces of equipment so that they are strapped in securely with us. Some examples include, a collar and a harness, a prong collar and a normal collar, a collar and a slip collar. If your dog only walks on a collar we will provide a slip collar to serve as their “back up” piece of equipment. No purchases required on your behalf, we are fully stocked with all of the above doggy gear.
These redundant protocols are so important to us. As pet care providers we’ve seen it all- dogs that slip loose from their harness, dogs that back out of their collars, leash clips that break, and equipment failing and popping off for no apparent reason. This helps us ensure that your pup is safe in our hands, no matter what.
